This year we had 91 teams participate over the two day tournament. Saturday was a great day for Pickleball, but we had a rain storm Sunday and had to move the event indoors to the Apex Recreation Center on 72nd Street. Even with the last minute change, it all went smoothly and was a success due to the hard work of our tournament directors Cindy McCall of the Apex Foundation and Roxie Augustine of Apex - Thank You Ladies!
Saturday we had about 66 teams playing in the Men's and Women's divisions, ranging in groupings for 18-60, 61-70, and 70-85! Sunday's Mixed Doubles competition had around 25 teams in those same age groupings.
In order to have a great tournament we needed great sponsors and donors - and we got them!!!
